Q: The videos in the Members Area are not playing well. They pause often during playback.

First, we recommend the use of Mozilla Firefox as your internet browser for the best experience on our site. There are many variances in internet connection speeds, computer processors and bandwidth. For this reason, we recommend that you allow the videos to FULLY BUFFER before playing. If a video is not buffered enough, the playback “catches up” to the buffer, which causes pauses, stops and sputters. To fully buffer the video, load the page and hit play to start the video. When the video has fully downloaded and starts to play, hit PAUSE (the button on the far left bottom of the player). You will see a BLUE line at the bottom of the player continue to fill in the space. When the RED line has completely filled in, the video is completely buffered and you should be able to play it completely without interruption. Please see the picture below for further explanation.

Q: I purchased Web Cooking Classes, but have not received registration or login information. How do I register and login?

The Web Cooking Classes system is designed to be completely automated, but like any system – there are sometimes snags. You should have received an email with your username and passcode shortly after purchase and a SEPARATE email with a link to login and complete your registration. If you do not complete this step, you will not have access to the full Members area. If you do not see Initial Members Bonuses under the Members Tab at the top of the page when you are logged in, please submit a Support Ticket immediately and we will assist you.

Q: I have registered and created my account. How do I login?

Go to theMembers Login Page and look to the left (there is a blinking arrow guiding the way). Just enter the username and password you created during registration to login to your own personal Members Area.

Q: I purchased Web Cooking Classes, but do not see my lessons?

First, login by following the instructions in the above question. Once you are logged in, just point your mouse to the Members Tab at the top of the page. Your available lessons will all appear in a pull-down menu from the Members Tab. Just click the lesson week of your choice to be taken to that page. You will automatically receive a new lesson every 7 days, triggered by your login.

Q: I forgot my password. How can I retrieve it?

We do not have access to any member’s password information as this is kept confidential by the system. However, if you’ve forgotten your password, you can reset it by clicking the “Forgot password?” link found in the Members login box from the Members Login Page or the homepage. When you click the link, you will asked to provide an email address – to which the system will send an email with a link for you to confirm in order to receive your new password. Once you have reset the password and logged in successfully, you can change it to something of your choice by clicking on the Membership Details link found in the Members login box (after you have logged in).

Q: I am trying to login, but the system is not taking my login information. What can I do?

Rest your password using the instructions in the above question.

Q: I have a question about one of the lessons / a cooking question that I’d like to ask Chef Todd. How can I reach him?

Chef Todd answers cooking questions and questions about specific lessons in our Members Forum. Visit our Members Forum by clicking on the Forum Tab at the top of the page when you are logged in. Create an account (if this is your first visit) and use the sections listed as a guide for posting your question.

Q: Are there any notes, handouts or printed materials that will be distributed in Web Cooking Classes in addition to the videos?

Absolutely. The video instruction is extremely valuable all on its own, but we’ve made it even more valuable in Web Cooking Classes by organizing the information in a logical fashion, which will make it easier for you to learn and use it immediately. Also, the instruction has been enhanced with the addition of printed handouts that the lessons. Our goal is that you can print each handout and over time have a complete resource guide you can keep on-hand as you cook.

Q: How long do the classes last?

Each class video is under 30 minutes. The intention is to make this something that will be easy for you to fit into your weekly schedule. A new project and challenge is only fun if you feel it is approachable for your current situation. And with our high quality web video, you can view the classes when it is convenient for you – in your pj’s if you want. You can cancel anytime so the duration of weeks is entirely up to you.

Q: What happens if I am out of town for a week or more? Will I miss my class for that week?

Once you receive access to a particular Week in your Membership, you will always have access to that week as long as you are a Member. This means that if you miss a week for any reason, you will still be able to access it when you get back to the program. Since the weekly lessons are relatively short, it is easy to make up a week or 2 if need be during your course.

Q: Can I cancel Web Cooking Classes before the end?

We hope Web Cooking Classes helps you achieve your culinary goals and we have worked very hard to ensure that it will. However, we also understand that this program is not for everyone, and we want to make it very easy for you to cancel if that is your choice. You can cancel Web Cooking Classes anytime and will not be billed again. Each billing date is a “pre-pay” for the following month, so if you want to cancel, you are best served to do so just BEFORE a billing period. Just go here and submit a form to cancel anytime.

Q: If I want to suspend my classes and start again at a later time, can I pick up where I left off?

This was something that was very important to us when we were investigating the technical side of our online cooking classes. Life happens, and we know that it might be necessary for some of our students to suspend their cooking classes for a period of time. We wanted people to be able to suspend membership and pick up right where they left off at a later date, which is exactly how our program works. If you need to stop your membership, you just cancel so that you stop being billed. When you are ready to reinstate, just send a Contact Form and we will gladly walk you through the process then.

Q: How do I cancel my Web Cooking Classes Membership?

We are sorry to see you go, but cancellation is quick and easy! Just visit our Cancellation Page, found in the pull-down menu under the Members Support Tab at the top of the page.

Q: What is the graduation gift after I complete my first 16 weeks (Cooking Basics Module)?

Each of our 16-week modules has an awesome graduation gift at the end – for all of our committed home chefs who make it to the finish line. I would love to tell you what it is because it would probably motivate you even more, but then it wouldn’t be a surprise, would it? :)

Q: When will my weekly online cooking lessons begin?

When you register for Web Cooking Classes, you create your membership account instantly and have immediate access to your Members Dashboard.
Here you will find your Initial Members Bonus items and videos. This is where you begin. In 7 days, you will automatically see Week 1 added to your Lesson list when you login.
7 days later comes Week 2 and so on…

Q: I’ve completed graduation, but have not yet received my gift. When does my gift arrive?

Upon completion of 16 weeks, 32 weeks and 48 weeks, you complete each Web Cooking Classes Course: Basic Cooking Methods, Advanced Cooking Techniques and Cooking and Baking Mastery, and we send you a gift in the mail each time! This is just one of the many ways Web Cooking Classes is the most complete, fun and unique online cooking program there is. However, there is something you must do each time to make sure your graduation gift ships and that is to confirm your shipping address. At the completion of 16 weeks, 32 weeks and 48 weeks, a new page becomes available under your Members Tab that references graduation. If you go to this page and follow the instructions there, your graduation gift will ship out to you promptly. This step is very important and we remind you of it on each Graduation Week’s class lesson page.
